Have you found yourself googling something like this before? We have. Since our wedding in 2013, we’ve developed a passion for travel, exploring new places, and finding those off-the-beaten-path hidden gems in any city we visit. Sure, we also like to check off the popular “tourist trap” locations, but more often than not, you’ll find us exploring the less-than-popular areas. You never know what you’ll stumble upon!

We also love sharing our finds with our friends and family. While we try to visit at least a few new locations each year, we have also built a list of favorite places that we try to return to as often as we can. This blog will document our new travels and highlight past memorable trips, too.

Since we both work “regular” jobs, we try to balance the frugality of traveling multiple times per year while also finding ways to splurge and spoil ourselves. As we share our experiences, we’ll recommend both splurge and frugal options, as we believe everyone should have the opportunity to explore our beautiful and interesting world!
